Astronomers from Cornell University have claimed exoplanets orbiting white dwarfs (WDs) have to be thoroughly studied in search of traces of alien life. They believe NASA’s soon-to-be-launched next-generation James Webb Space Telescope will come in pretty much handy in the process. The white dwarfs are the same in size to Earth and have almost stable environments for billions of years after initial cooling.
