Rejected 2.2 Mn ads for an attempt to obstruct voting; Facebook applauds security of the platform

Facebook had pledged efforts to revise its rules and tighten its safeguards. It insisted it would not be a race for misinformation. The platform claims to have rejected about 2.2 million ads and has removed 120,000 posts for attempting to obstruct voting. Facebook's VP Nick Clegg added the company uses AI which made it possible to delete billions of posts and fake accounts, ahead of users reporting it to them.
