Rare 'glass octopus' found in central Pacific Ocean; scientists took pictures

The octopus is rare and virtually entirely transparent, with just three visible features: the optic nerve, eyes, and digestive tube, according to the researchers. Before this voyage, it is believed that photographs and live footage of the octopus were extremely rare. As a result, scientists had to depend on previous expeditions' research and specimens. The one-of-a-kind creature's photos have now gone viral on social media.
