Pilot, who survived being stranded in Amazon forest for 13 days after his plane crashed, dies in second plane crash in Brazil

A pilot who made headlines last year after his airplane crashed and left him trapped for 13 days in the Amazon rainforest, has passed away in a second plane crash incident. When his plane crashed in Mucaja, Roraima, Brazil, 38-year-old Otavio Augusto Munhoz da Silva, passed away last week. The incident took place on August 28th, just 214 kilometres from the city, Boa Vista, and close to the Venezuelan border.
