A third of the 2,000 sailors who were at sea onboard a French aircraft carrier and support craft when the novel coronavirus outbreak started have tested positive. With two-thirds of test results already in, 668 sailors from the Charles de Gaulle and escort vessels in the battle group have been confirmed to be COVID-19 positive. Last week, the carrier was called back 10 days early from a deployment in the Atlantic.
