New 'super-white' paint reflects 95.5% of sunlight off buildings; might replace AC one day
Scientists claim that they have created a new super-white paint which reflects 95.5% of the sunlight that hits it. The new acrylic remains significantly cooler than the surrounding temperature in both day & night time. Scientists say that it could be used to keep buildings cooler naturally & help to diminish climate change caused due to AC. The new paint is composed of calcium carbonate fillers to minimize UV light absorption.
