More than 200 people were arrested over femicide in Brazil

In Brazil, on Friday, more than 200 people were arrested for femicide in one day, said the govt. Nearly 6,600 police officials grabbed nearly 1000 people from across the country. The arrest of these people came as a response of govt against the rising violent crime in Brazil, which includes femicide (specifically killing of a woman by a man). 1,027 adults and 75 adolescents were imprisoned by the afternoon, said an official.
