Massive explosion at Bangkok factory, residents evacuated from the area

Authorities were forced to evacuate residents in large numbers after a massive explosion at a factory on the outskirts of Bangkok rocked the city in the wee hours of Monday. A foam and plastic pallet manufacturing factory in a south-eastern area of Bangkok near Suvarnabhumi Airport was engulfed by fire. The windows of several nearby houses were blown out due to the explosion. No casualties have been reported yet.
