Lizard species of skink shows rare evolutionary transition

A 3-toed skink (Saiphos equalis) was spotted in an extraordinary trait. The lizard had laid 3 eggs and at the same time was delivering another baby by live birth in its same pregnancy. Scientists believe the lizard species has shown a very rare transitional phase between egg-laying and animals giving live birth. In animal kingdom as we see babies are born either parent laying eggs or giving birth to live offspring.
