Indian govt bans Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh as a banned terrorist organization. The home ministry said the outfit has committed acts of terrorism, promoted acts of terrorism & has been engaged in radicalization & recruitment of youth for terrorist activities in India. The outfit has been listed under the First Schedule of UAPA [Unlawful Activities Prevention Act] meaning it is now a banned organisation in India.
