An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 has shaken central Morocco, with its epicentre located in the High Atlas Mountains, approximately 71km (44 miles) southwest of Marrakesh. According to the US Geological Survey, the quake occurred at a depth of 18.5km, sending shockwaves across the region. Amidst the chaos, a shirtless man made headlines as he hastily abandoned all possessions, fleeing his home in Marrakesh with only his cherished PlayStation 5 in hand.
