Amber Fort

The Amer fort, now known as Amber fort is one of the most prominent tourist places in Rajasthan. This place was once the capital of the prestigious city of Jaipur. It was constructed by Maharaja Man Singh the first and the foundations of this place are still as strong as they were back in the day.

City Palace, Udaipur

The City Palace lies in the province of Udaipur. The construction of this palace began in 1553 under the rule of Maharana Udai Singh II. He belonged to the Sisodiya Rajput family. This palace is located on the banks of the Lake Pichola.

Jaisalmer Fort

Up to the 16th century, the Jaisalmer fort itself was the city of Jaisalmer. It is one of the very few living forts around the globe with one fourth of the Jaisalmeri population still residing inside the fort. It was constructed by Rajput Rawal in the 10th century and is the 2nd oldest fort in Rajasthan.

The Fort of Chittor is crowned by the title of being the largest fort in India. It has a rich heritage as being the capital of Mewar. It lies in the city of Chittor, thus deriving its name from the same. It was built in the 7th century.
