Sonu Sood, his associates evaded more than Rs. 20 crore in tax, reveals Income Tax Department

Days after raiding the residence of actor Sonu Sood, the Income Tax department has revealed that the actor and his associates had evaded tax worth more than Rs. 20 crore. “The main modus operandi followed by the actor had been to route his unaccounted income in the form of bogus unsecured loans from many bogus entities,” a tax department official said. According to the CBDT, as many as 28 premises were raided by the agency.
