Shoojit Sircar: Military units need to put women commanders in charge

Shoojit Sircar believes women commanders should be put in charge of battalions or units of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force for the sake of gender equality. The ‘Piku’ director has always been vocal regarding gender-based equality and women's rights. Recently he had even shared a post against the taboos related to menstruation. Shoojit is currently working on 2 films - Gulabo Sitabo & Sardar Udham Singh biopic.
