Veteran actor Chandrakant Pandya is well known for playing the role of Lord Rama’s childhood friend Nishad Raj in Ramanand Sagar’s mythological drama Ramayana. The actor passed away on October 21 due to health ailments. His co-star Dipika Chikhlia confirmed the news. Dipika, who is well known for playing the role of Sita in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana, took to social media to inform about the senior actor’s demise.
