Oldest shark victim found; 3000-year-old skeleton found with 800 plus injuries

An international group of researchers sought to replicate what happened to a skeleton discovered from a burial ground at the Tsukumo archaeological site in Okayama prefecture in the study, which was published in the "Journal of Archaeological Science." Cuts, fractures from blunt force, and crisscrossing gouges with sharp, V-shaped edges were among the man's almost 800 serious injuries, which were typical of a shark attack.
