Nayanthara-Vignesh Shivan Surrogacy Row: Couple got legally married 6 years ago, reveals affidavit

The news of the birth of actress Nayanthara and filmmaker husband Vignesh Shivan babies led to several people pointing out that surrogacy had been made illegal in India since January. And now, in a new twist in the tale, an affidavit submitted by the couple to the Tamil Nadu health department revealed that Nayanthara and Vignesh got their marriage registered six years ago itself.
