Jaya Prada sentenced to six months in jail, actress to also pay Rs 5000 fine in unpaid ESI case

Veteran actress & politician Jaya Prada has been sentenced to six months in jail. On August 11, a court in Chennai found Jaya Prada guilty. Reportedly, a fine of Rs 5000 has also been imposed on the actress. She was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment for not paying Employees' State Insurance (ESI) fund share, despite collecting money from the workers of the ‘Jayaprada’ Theatre Complex.
