In a shocking incident, veteran TV actress Veena Kapoor was allegedly murdered by her 43-year-old son over a property dispute. According to media reports, the actress, who lived in Vile Parle, was repeatedly hit on her head with a baseball bat. Her son later dumped her body in a river near Matheran, 90 km away from the residence. The news of Veena's murder by her son has sent shock waves across the television industry.
