Charlotte and Emily left the parsonage in 1842 to go to the Pensionnat Héger in Brussels, Belgium. While there, Charlotte developed feelings for Constantin Héger, the school's married head of school. She actually developed an unhealthy obsession with him.

The Ptolemaic Dynasty ruled ancient Egypt from 323 to 30 BC. The name Cleopatra is actually Greek for “Famous in Her Father” or “Her Father’s Fame”

Dog owners in Turin, Italy will be fined up to €500 if they don’t walk their pets at least three times a day, under a new law from the city’s council. Italy considers itself an animal-loving nation and in many cities, stray cats are protected by law.

To enforce the law, Turin police would rely largely on the help of tipsters spotting cruel treatment by neighbors. Turin has the most stringent animal protection rules in the country. They even ban fairgrounds from giving away goldfish in bags.

This is more of a theoretical ideal than a reality, but numerous fields of mathematics, quantum mechanics, and astrophysics have all reached similar conclusions: our world is just one among many, and we live in a multiverse.' There are several theories as to how this may happen, one of which being that atoms can only be organized in a finite number of ways in time and space, eventually leading to the repetition of events and individuals. Other ideas postulate bubbles or parallel universes, as well as 'braneworlds' that exist just outside the grasp of the dimensions we know.
