Vitamin D is commonly lauded for its role in bone health and good moods, but new study suggests that it may also have a role in metabolism and weight loss. In one prior study, for example, when vitamin-D-deficient women increased their blood levels of vitamin D to recommended levels, they lost more weight. The iguana has a third eye called the parietal eye. This pale-colored eye is positioned on the top of the head. It cannot distinguish between forms or colours, but it can detect light and movement. This allows the iguana to detect predatory birds from above.

Many people believe Sherlock Holmes utilizes deductive thinking to solve the perplexing cases he encounters on a daily basis, but in truth, he employs abductive reasoning.
