Your bank account data may have been stolen by fake apps

IT security firm Sophos Labs's report has revealed that fake apps of 7 banks including SBI, ICICI, Axis, Indian Overseas, BoB, Yes Bank and Citi Bank may have stolen thousands of customers' account and credit card details. While some banks are denying the threat, others have alerted their cyber fraud department and CERT-In, the national nodal agency. The logos for the fake and real apps look similar to each other.
