16.5 tons of cocaine has been seized by the federal authorities worth more than $1 billion from a ship in Philadelphia. The US Justice Department on Tuesday claimed that it was one of the biggest drug seizures in US history. Federal, state and local law enforcement agents on Monday boarded the MSC Gayane, a cargo ship anchored in Philadelphia's Packer Marine Terminal, and found cocaine in 7 shipping containers.
