Congress leader Sadaf Jafar beaten and jailed after she filmed police inaction during the protest

UP-based Congress, Sadaf Jafar was arrested and beaten during a demonstration against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), which took place in Lucknow. Sadaf Jafar had actually posted videos of accusing the police which was in action during all the clashes. Lucknow witnessed some very violent protests against the new citizenship law. Protesters got very violent and pelted stones outside the police station.
