Ranchi's Nirbhaya rape-murder accused convicted by special CBI Court

A special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court on Friday convicted the main accused in the rape and murder case of an engineering student in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The accused was convicted after a month-long trial. The absconding accused named Rahul Raj was nabbed by the CBI. The CBI caught the offender using DNA lineage of his parents which matched with the sample found on the victim's body and nails.
