PNB scam case unlikely to return to India before 2027

Gaston Browne, the Chief of Staff to Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister Gaston Browne said that fugitive diamantaire Mehul Choksi, who is an accused in the PNB scam case, has taken legal recourse over the matter and it would take nearly 7 years to reach a resolution before he could be handed over to India. Lionel Hurst said Choksi "has all the rights and privileges of a citizen of Antigua and Barbuda."
