Over 27,000 job seekers duped of Rs. 1.09 crore in a month by fake job portals

Delhi Police’s cyber cell busted a fake job racket that was operational in the name of the Union health ministry. The people running the racket duped over 27,000 applicants of nearly Rs 1.09 crore in a month in the name of the registration fee. The police have arrested five suspects in connection with the racket. The criminals had access to the personal data of job-seekers and they sent 15 lakh SMSs linked with fraud sites.
