Nirbhaya convict Pawan Gupta files curative petition in Supreme Court

Pawan Gupta, one of the four convicts in 2012 Nirbhaya gangrape-murder case, has filed a curative petition in the Supreme Court of India on Friday. The four convicts are scheduled to be hanged on March 3. Pawan sought his death sentence to be commuted to a life imprisonment sentence in his plea. Earlier this month, the Patiala House court in Delhi signed fresh death warrants for the four men convicted in the 2012 gangrape.
