Nirav Modi declared a fugitive economic offender by Mumbai Court

The absconding diamantaire Nirav Modi has been declared a fugitive economic offender under Fugitive Economic Offenders Act by the special Prevention of Money Laundering Act ( PMLA) court today in Punjab National Bank scam case. The court will pass an order on the confiscation of his properties later. Nirav Modi is a key accused in the $2 billion Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud and money laundering case.
