Nibhaya convict Vinay Sharma hits head on wall to hurt himself in jail

One of the death row convicts of the 2012 Delhi gang-rape and murder case, Vinay Sharma, was reportedly injured after he attempted to hurt himself by hitting his head against a wall in his cell early this week. Vinay was, however, stopped by a jail official and treated. The convict had also gone on a hunger strike inside the prison earlier. He received minor head injuries," said a Tihar Jail official.
