Naxal carrying a reward of Rs 1 lakh surrenders in Chattisgarh

Kosa Kawasi, a Dantewada-based maoist who had a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head, surrendered before authorities along with an improvised explosive device (IED) in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district. He was active as a janmilitia commander under the Katekalyan area committee of Maoists. The 21-year-old Maoist surrendered with a 5kg IED. He was an accused in several incidents including the murder of a villager.
