MP man arrested for chopping off wife's fingers over minor fight

In a horrific incident, a map chopped off the thumb and three fingers of his wife over a small argument in Chicholi village of Betul district, Madhya Pradesh. The accused identified as Raju Vanshkar used to fight with his wife over small issues on a regular basis. The man chopped off the fingers of his wife with an axe while she was fast asleep in the house in the early hours of Thursday. CM Shivraj Singh condemned the act.
