J&K's decision challenged at Supreme court by Omar Abdullah's party

Omar Abdullah's National Conference has appealed in SC after the govt move to scrap Jammu and Kashmir's special status. The party called the move as 'illegal' as the petition was filed by party MPs Akbar Lone and Hasnain Masoodi. The party even disregarded this petition and regarded it as "arbitrary" and "contrary to the rule of law." The petition claimed that President was acting on the advice of union cabinet.
