Former DU Professor SAR Geelani, who was responsible for parliament attack case, died

Former Delhi University professor SAR Geelani, who was arrested and later acquitted by the SC in the Parliament attack case, died on Thursday following a cardiac arrest. Mr. Geelani taught the Arabic language at Delhi University's Zakir Hussain College and lived with his wife and two daughters. He was also charged with sedition in 2016, as he had conducted an event against the hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.
