Desirous of remarrying, Kerala man buys cobra to kill wife

A man was arrested in Kerala’s Kollam for a unique crime. The man bought a snake to kill his wife as he wanted to remarry. Uthra was found dead at her house in Anchal on May 7. The initial investigation pointed at snakebite as the cause of death. The man identified as Suraj, bought a cobra from his friend Suresh in April. On May 6, Sooraj took the snake out at night and kept it on Uthra's body, that bit her twice.
