CBI arrests 3 people from Himachal in Rs 220 Crore scholarship scam

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested 3 persons in connection with a Rs 220 crore scholarship scam that took place in Himachal Pradesh. CBI registered a case after the state government's request under section 409, 419, 465, 466 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code. The 3 accused have been identified as Arvind Rajta, Hitesh Gandhi and S.P. Singh, the then Head Cashier, Central Bank of India.
