Bengaluru man rapes daughter after giving pills to treat cold, arrested after daughter attempts suicide

Ina heinous incident, a 40-year-old man from Bengaluru raped his teen daughter after giving her sleeping pills in the name of medicine for cold. The incident happened on the night of June 23. The teen girl, after the incident, tried to commit suicide by consuming a toilet cleaning chemical after her stepmother didn’t help her register a complaint. The 19-year-old went to a police station by herself after which the man was arrested.
