AP cabinet approved a draft legislation that mandates disposal of cases of atrocities against women

The cabinet of Andhra Pradesh approved a draft legislation that mandates the disposal of cases of brutal violence against women. The said action will be taken within 21 days and handing out the death penalty. The criminal act will be called as the "AP Disha Act". Special courts will be set up in each of the 13 districts to solve cases of rape, sexual harassment, acid attacks and harassment through social media.
