An Army officer killed in firing by militants in J&K

A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of the Indian Army was killed after being fired upon by terrorists at a post in the Naushera sector. This is the first encounter in Kashmir which happened after four terror camps were attacked in retaliation to ceasefire violations that were meant to assist infiltrators in the Tangdhar sector. Two Indian soldiers were killed in Pakistani shelling. Security forces have beefed up after this.
