629 Pakistani girls sold to China as brides

Pakistan considers China as its closest friend but China is no one's friend and no one's enemy. In a recent crackdown, a group of Pakistani investigators revealed that 629 girls and women from across Pakistan were sold as brides to Chinese men and were taken to China. The report was prepared to break up trafficking networks exploiting the country's poor and vulnerable. A Faislabad court acquitted 31 Chinese men for trafficking.
