350 Crimes Committed Against Children Every Day in India; UP, MP top the list

According to data collected by the Child Rights and You (CRY) from a report published by National Crime Records Bureau, there has been an increase of 20% in the crimes against children in 2016-17. The rate of crime against children rose exponentially from 1.8 to 28.9% over 2007-2017. Nearly 1.3 lakh cases of crime against children were reported in 2017 with MP and UP standing at the top with 14000 cases each.
