31-year-old man held for abduction, rape, 'forceful conversion' of 26-year-old woman in UP

A 31-year-old man was arrested in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki on Sunday in connection with a case of abduction and rape of a 26-year-old woman. The accused was arrested on a complaint by the woman's father. The victim's father also accused the man of forced religious conversion and marriage. Additional Superintendent of Police Awadhesh Singh said the accused identified as Wahab used to work for the woman's father.
