25 locals including newborn's mother brutally beaten by Maoists in Chattisgarh's Dantewada

Maoists and Naxals continue to create trouble for residents of Chattisgarh as in yet another incident, 25 locals, including the mother of a newborn child, were beaten brutally by the Maoists in the Parcheli village of the Katekalyan tehsil in Dantewada. The Maoists were reportedly angry with the villagers for talking to the District Collector and Superintendent of Police Abhishek Pallav, during their visit in the area.
