Watch out for blood clot symptoms after taking Covishield: Centre

Union Health Ministry has said the number of blood clot cases in people who were administered Covishield, the vaccine made by AstraZeneca, was "minuscule". "AEFI (Adverse Event Following Immunisation) data in India showed that there is a very minuscule but definitive risk of thromboembolic events," the health ministry said. The Health Ministry asked the health officials to watch out for blood clot symptoms after vaccination.
