COVID-19 test made mandatory for people entering West Bengal from Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana

A day after Delhi, the West Bengal government has also made the RT-PCR test mandatory for travellers entering the state from Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana. The decision has been taken in view of the sudden surge in Covid cases in the respective states. The directive will come into force from February 27 and "all passengers coming from the four states shall mandatorily carry a COVID negative RT-PCR report."
