WPI inflation falls to 1% in March

WPI (Wholesale price index) inflation fell to 1 percent in March, from 2.26 percent in February, as per the data released by the government. Determined by the Wholesale Price Index (WPI), wholesale inflation is the rate of increase in wholesale prices. The economy has been hit severely amid the coronavirus outbreak and an increase in the wholesale prices was expected after the pandemic entered India.
