World Bank welcomes recovery of Indian economy after coronavirus pandemic

World Bank President David Malpass said the Indian economy, which was affected significantly due to the Covid-19 pandemic, is now recovering well. "The Indian economy is recovering, and we welcome that. It’s going through to the other side of the Covid of the latest wave. That's good. But India, like other countries, is hit hard now by the supply chain disruptions and by the inflation that's been rising in the world,” said Malpass.
