Wipro to give pay hikes to 80 percent of its staff from January 1

IT-giant Wipro is going to provide pay hikes for nearly 80 percent of its employees starting from January 1. The firm will also give promotions to top performers and the junior band (B3 and below) employees will be eligible for the pay hikes. The mid-level employees will get the pay raise starting from June 1 next year. The firm said the employees "have shown remarkable resolve and resilience" amid the challenging times.
