Vodafone Idea says Jio's call on IUC was done in 'undue haste'

Vodafone Idea said Reliance Jio's call to recover IUC (interconnect user charge) money by charging customers was done in haste and was diverting attention from sector's poor health. VIL termed it as an act of undue haste and adds that it also brings out the fact that interconnect is a settlement between operators and not a consumer pricing matter. IUC is a charge paid to the telco on whose network a call terminates.
