UPI transactions crossed 1 billion mark in October

India's own domestic payment platform Unified Payments Interface (UPI) has hit a new record high in October. It has crossed one billion mark and with that National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is now aiming to go a step further and making it global. They are planning to start the expansion in Singapore and UAE initially. UPI is an instant and real-time payment system that makes the transactions hassle-free.
